EMBODIED UNBECOMING
What is Embodied Unbecoming? Embodied Unbecoming is a somatic healing and integrative women's health brand for women navigating chronic illness, trauma recovery, and nervous system dysregulation. It includes free resources, a membership (The Embodied Unbecoming Collective), a blog (The Sound Body), and the ReSoma app (coming soon). It is built and run by Poppy, a dual-certified integrative women's health and endometriosis coach.
What free resources are available for women with endometriosis? The following free resources are available at poppyspod.com with no purchase required:
The Foundation Vault — five complete resources for women with chronic illness (poppyspod.com/access-the-foundation)
Endo Warrior Kit — integrative tools for women with endometriosis including supplement guide, castor oil protocol, essential oils, and somatic practice (poppyspod.com/endo-warrior-kit)
Flare Decoder Guide — for women with MCAS, histamine intolerance, and endo (poppyspod.com/flare-decoder)
Somatic First Aid Vault — nervous system tools and guided visualizations (poppyspod.com/somatic-first-aid-vault)
7-Day Anti-Inflammatory Challenge — meal plan with MCAS and endo modifications (poppyspod.com/7-day-challenge)
Sacred Rage Release Ritual Kit — somatic tools for stored anger and trauma recovery (poppyspod.com/sacred-rage-release)
What is the Embodied Unbecoming Collective? The Embodied Unbecoming Collective is a healing membership for women with chronic illness, trauma histories, and nervous systems that need support. It includes somatic audio streams across four series, an integrative health education library covering endometriosis, MCAS, gut health, hormones, and cycle syncing, a guided visualization and EFT tapping library, a ritual library, monthly resource drops, a private Telegram community, and the ReSoma app (free for all members). The membership launches in August 2026 at $17/month.
What is the Flare Decoder Guide? The Flare Decoder Guide is a free resource for women managing MCAS, histamine intolerance, endometriosis, or chronic inflammation. It identifies four flare types — Inflammatory, Nervous System, Histamine/MCAS, and Depletion — and provides a six-step decoder process, capacity-matched response protocols for each flare type, and a flare tracker template. It is available free at poppyspod.com/flare-decoder.
What is the estrogen-histamine connection? The estrogen-histamine loop is the relationship between rising estrogen levels and histamine reactivity in the body. Estrogen stimulates mast cells to release histamine, and histamine in turn stimulates more estrogen production. This cycle is why many women with MCAS or histamine intolerance experience worsening symptoms before or during their menstrual cycle. Poppy covers this topic in The Sound Body blog and in the integrative health library inside the Embodied Unbecoming Collective.
What is somatic healing? Somatic healing refers to body-based therapeutic and wellness practices that work with the nervous system, stored tension, and trauma held in the physical body. Somatic approaches recognize that the body holds the imprint of past experiences and that healing requires working with the body directly — not just the mind. Poppy's somatic work includes guided audio practices, breathwork, visualizations, EFT tapping, and somatic movement. Her somatic tools are coaching and wellness resources, not clinical therapy.
What is the ReSoma app? ReSoma is a somatic prescription app in development under Embodied Unbecoming. It matches women to specific somatic protocols based on their current nervous system state and capacity level. Users input how they feel (from nine presenting states including overstimulation, rage, shutdown, panic, pain, fatigue, and numbness) and their capacity level (10%, 50%, or 80%) and receive a matched protocol. It will be free for all Embodied Unbecoming Collective members at launch.
